Permanent token for auth.json

we created shell script to deployment php app everyday morning. But when do the kool reports changes we got token expire issue while composer update.. is there any option like Permanent token or getting token from terminal?

Hi Tech Apps,

Since the version 4.5.x, we have supported CI/CD processes with token expiration. So basically:

Your token key expiration will be the same with subscription expiration date.
If you own the Perpetual Usage, the token expiration will be set to year 2100, virtually no expired.

I just generated a token today and it expires in 1 hour. How do we go about getting perpetual token? Even if just for an extension??

This is because I am trying to have my CI/CD pipeline do a composer install and the fact that the tokens are only valid for an hour causes this. Why can't the token not expire?? The token I am getting comes from my license of koolreport/excel

Pls generate your auth.json token and test your CI/CD pipeline again. If there is any issue pls run composer install manually and let us know what response message is.

not sure what you mean by generate auth.json again.... The token generated on kool report side has the following:

The token generated on the Kool Report side is only valid for 24 hours..... it needs to be MUCH longer than that.

Oh, the valid period should often extend till 2100. Pls let us know your logged in user name/email for us to check this token expiration for you. If the email name is confidential pls email your info to support@koolreport.com. Rgds,

My license for version 11 of the Excel Plugin is still active

It seems your Excel subscription passes the 1 year update period to the latest version but it still is valid to install older versions. However, this affects the token generating logic so that the composer token is only valid for 24 hour. It might take some time for us to update the token logic. Thus, for the time being we will extend your Excel license for 1 year more (till April, 21st 2026) for free so that the generated composer token is valid for more time.

Pls generate a new auth.json and let us know the result. Rgds,
